What a frickin crew. Anyone recognize the skinny guy on the far right?

It's really sad that the SF Pro Am has fallen off so much. I hear stories and see pictures like this of the old days. Incredible.

Let weekend, my son (6th grade) hit a game winning 3 in a tournament at Kezar. Down 1, catches on the wing, no hesitation, swish. I told him some of the names of players who have played on that court, and that he just hit a game winning 3 on the same court. I can't wait to show him this picture.

I assume the kid on the far right is Jerod Haase. And the kid next to him in the front row looks like Monty Buckley.

I was there around then when Tim Hardaway and Mitch Richmond walked in and started playing for one of the teams. Summer league was so much fun back in the day.

Well, it's not Jerod Haase. I found a page that lists the names, although unfortunately, they don't list the names in the order of the picture . . .

It's 100% Jerod Haase.

That's what I thought, it certainly looks like him. When I went to the SF Pro Am website, he wasn't listed as one of the players. He must not have been listed for some reason, but I think you are right, that is him in the picture.

But it lists 15 players and 2 coaches as if they are pictured, but only 10 dudes in the pic itself. I recall the rosters being pretty fluid as guys would have various commitments and availability. I suspect the list of players is incomplete and certainly the players in the pic is an incomplete representation.

Those were the days! I think tix were like $3. JK dominated even though he had yet to play a college game. The crowd loved it when Payton showed up. Oakland street baller Hook Mitchell was another fan favorite and lit it up. It was like Rucker Park West.
