I never post on "game experience" but in a word this aspect was Abysmal. Hopefully they fix that. Lines were a hundred deep, kiosks closed 2 people running the ones that were. Rinky dink operation and no planning. Most of the fountains don't work so getting water was an expedition. As a visitor (not many) that would be my impression of Haas.

*probably needed to plan for >1900 fans
*we had Arinels but getting water at Newell Ct was imposerous as most fountains were broken.
*at least I wasn't guy at Jupiter informing the cook at Jupiter that the Men's room needed more TP.

It brings to mind an A's Opening Day game many years ago. It took 4 innings to get a hot dog and a beer. Didn't miss much action on the field, however.

Eat before you comeI am a season ticket holder and never buy anything. Plus ice cream is only downstairs. Water fountain near mens restroom has always worked. Or bring food and water. Not that hard to plan ahead. Concession food is not very good. Very small hot dogs $7. No coke pepsi also $7. No thanks.

I was a season ticket holder for decades until I moved away so typically don't buy crap at the stands and didn't last night because they are at best unpredictable…..but this was an absolute mess and whomever was in charge needs to look at it. They not only left a bunch of concession $$ on the table but soured more than a few newbie fans last night

Playing hard to get is a strategy.

Yeah, with the relatively short game lengths and all the great food options around town, I never understood why folks would buy mediocre and overpriced concession food. But people do, so Cal needs to get their act together to not leave money that would otherwise go to the program on the table.

It's bad every time I go. It makes it very difficult to get my kids to come.

Is it a Cal thing? Or are concessions run by a company like Aramark, etc?

It's definitely a third party but hopefully operate under our oversight of whomever owns this expense line item in the athletic dept

Used to be Cal Dining, which was worse. Unable to find out who is doing it now.

Might be something called Levy Restaurants

I could picture the problem being a lack of communication between the folks who came up with the successful cheap tix idea and the folks who run the concessions. Wouldn't surprise me at all; we have zero attention to detail.

People eat more when they're nervous.

No reason to be nervous. We were never in the game.
