I agree. There is one writer on espn's website that has a goofy theory that each conference gets so many bids and each bubble team is primarily competing for spots against its conference mates. But that isn't supported by the history of the tournament committee's choices in past years. Winning one game, and thus doing a little better than Stanford or Virginia Tech, isn't enough. The Bears will have to do a lot more, and then convince the committee that they are also more deserving than five or six additional teams that are not in the ACC.
