Cavs won the first round series in game 7 today

Jaylon was a key part of the win off the bench playing as a combo guard, handling the ball as the 1 much of the time...

7 pts on 3-8 shooting including 1-3 from deep, NINE rebounds, 4 assists with ZERO assists

For the 7 game series he averaged 16 minutes, 7 pts on 41% shooting including 35% from 3, 3 boards, 2.1 assists. 0.7 TOs for a 3-1 assist/TO ratio,

I watched the game and was so pumped to see Tys play so well. Besides rebounding, assisting and scoring efficiently, he played really good D on the Raptors' top outside scoring threats.

Plus, NBC interviewed him as the teams left the floor for halftime.

I was hoping he'd give a "Go Bears!" shoutout as he headed to the locker room. No such luck. Lol.

He had 9 boards in 19 minutes and only got out rebounded by J Allen who collected 19 in 33 minutes. He was tied by Raptor Barnes who had 9 boards in 37 minutes.

"Jaylon Tyson's limited playoff minutes for the Cleveland Cavaliers (2026) are primarily due to a crowded wing rotation after February roster additions (Harden, Ellis, Schröder), a recent bone bruise in his toe that disrupted his rhythm, and the typical, tighter playoff rotation. While he showed promise, veteran trust and his struggle to adjust to playoff intensity have led to fluctuating minutes."

My guess is he'll be traded before next year's trade deadline. He's a good player, but he's extraneous in Cleveland. Additionally, the Cavs will need cap space, as they'll be over the second apron with their current roster (they'll probably opt to keep some less expensive players). That means Jaylon could be dealt for some draft picks or an expiring contract or a non-guaranteed player.

"With less than eight minutes left in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Cavaliers were up 93-71. Victory seemed assured. The Knicks had other plans.

Flipping the script: A furious comeback in the fourth quarter led to an emphatic beatdown in overtime, with New York notching a 115-104 win in front of their home crowd to take a 1-0 series lead.

By the numbers: The Knicks outscored the Cavs 44-11 in just under 13 minutes of game time, shooting 15-for-20 from the field and scoring 1.69 points per possession.

As for Cleveland, they shot 4-for-18 from the floor and 2-for-11 from 3-point range.

Jalen Brunson had 17 points (8-10 FG) during New York's 44-11 run, cooking James Harden on possession after possession en route to a 38-point night.

In that same span, Harden and Donovan Mitchell combined for three points on 1-for-10 shooting with zero assists and two turnovers.

Speaking of Harden: For the 48th time in his playoff career, he had as many or more turnovers (6) as made field goals (5). With 188 career appearances, that's more than a quarter (25.5%) of his games. Not great!"

I think Harden's overrated and lacks the killer instinct, but he's still a star in a star-driven league. The Cavs will likely keep him over Jaylon. Don't get me wrong, I would keep Tyson over Harden, but I'm not in the Cavs' front office.
