Ended up not going to the ballgame. watched the first half on my computer and then went to bed. woke up and the game was over but the score was a lot closer. Some things i meant to say but have been to sick to post.

i. Big Sciota (Sakima). She has developed her offense. She now has a go to shot that is a right handed hook shot that is almost automatic from up to 8 feet. And she has increased her shooting range to 12 feet with a straight up jumper. Combine this with Maul's improvement and we are a much better offensive team. and this helps Lulu as the pressure to dominate is off her and she is shooting better too.

2. Claudia looks in better shape than i have seen her for awhile. She is theortically a threat from outside though her per centage is abysmal. She has a body though on defense that isn't moved easily.

3. Where are all the people who wanted Niya to play 30 mintes a game? She hasn't done as well against tall centers. She needs to develop an outside shot.

4. We are a pretty good defensive team when we have the energy. We had it the first half. We'll be even better when Taylor comes back. When Taylor comes back we will be 9 deep.

5. Having Puff back means we don't have to use Lola as a point guard as much. she is still available as a defensive stopper (second on the team in steals--Steals per minute she is close to Mjaricle who leads the team.

6. Not as fun to watch on TV as it is in person. You can watch their shootin pre game to see who is hot. Can check to see if anyone is limping.

7. Va Tech is a big game (but all the games are big games). Fortunately the best teams are one we play at home if we can get a crowd. If you don't come to the game then don't complain.

All good comments. The only ironic and frustrating thing is that Claudia is often "hot" from distance in warmups, waiting still for that to translate to Gametime. Re: Naya…for so much of the year she played "taller" and we forgot about her true size. But her "visible " attitude remains positive…always smiling. And have you noticed the decrease in offensive fouls from everyone, especially Sakima?
Feel better!

We forgive you for missing this one. To make up for it please recite three times:

"I will be there Sunday and we will beat Virginia Tech. Go Bears!"

Honestly, I think your fifth point is the most crucial for our matchup against VA Tech.

Watched the highlights of the VA Tech-Stanford game and we're going to need intense defensive pressure from Donez on some of their guards. Would love 15-20 minutes of lock down pressure on Wenzel and Suffren.

I will repeat that Mantra. Reminds me of a song called Zen gospel Singing.

I didn't mention Taylor. she can guard bigs and littles. Sure will be glad when she returns. Great how we have done without her.

A bigger attendance would have helped second half with defensive energy.
