Cal lacks energy on offense again and is having major difficulty getting open from the outside or the inside. Sakima Walker struggling to get open w/ 3 TOs. Puff Morris (1-4) and Lulu Twidale (2-9) are killing the offense and are a combined 2 for 11 on three-point attempts.

Bowles has kept Florida State in the game with 11 points and appears to be the Seminole's only hot shooter. Cal can only score inside with Walker & Ojukwu. Bears getting killed on the offensive boards.

I would not be surprised if Fla State upsets Cal. The team is not playing well and is quite beatable tonight.

With 3 1/2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Naya has played 4 minutes with 4 points. Most of FSU threes have been over Lulu. Bowles is taking over the game. Bears have multiple three seconds in the key.violations.

Seminoles outplay and outscore Bears in 3rd period, 23-18. Teams have outscored Florida State on average by 4.1 ppg. Cal dominates the final quarter and outscores the home team, 25-9! Bears triumph, 75-62!

Lulu Twidale goes off in the second half and end up with 40% of the team's points (30). I don't believe the last ten minutes of this game. Didn't Virginia Tech hold our Aussie to a single basket last Sunday? GO BEARS!

Would be shame for tournament possibility to end tonight against a very average team. Cal not playing like they want it.

let's be real here fsu is a really bad basketball team, this would've been a blowout if the cal head coach had not bizarrely once again kept her most productive offensive player naya ojuwku (4 points on 2 of 4 field goals in 5 minutes) on the bench instead of letting her play thru her 3 fouls and playing 30+ minutes at the 4 (it's this kind of poor decision making/failure to utilize player's talents that explains why charmin is a career .300 conference head coach)

but this is still a FUN team to root for as they fight the odds to run the tables & earn a 2026 ncca tournament spot

Stanford has dropped to 13th place in the league. I wonder if they will be rethinking their choice of coaches to replace Tara. Paye is recruiting well, but the results on the court are not going in the right direction.
