Ed Miller and I go back to 2007.
He wound up coaching a number of NCAA and Pac-10 Champions during his coaching career.

Both Ed and Kathy went to Pleasant Hill High School and were coached by the legendary Bob McGuire.
McGuire also was the head coach at Hayward State back in the day and won some NCAA D-2 titles.

He was your oh-so-loveable "goofy" Match teacher.
Died back in 2015. A resident of Pleasant Hill.

Costello won the 880 at State in 1974
She ran 2:10.4

She came back in 1975 to not only defend her 880 title, but also won the Mile.
