Anyone suffer from kidney stones? Currently in the ER with what has to be my 15th kidney stone in the last 10 years. Been on special diets, meds that are supposed to help prevent stones but nothing has stopped my body from creating more. I don't wish the pain associated with kidney stones on my worst enemy.
Anything worked well for any of you?
My condolences about your kidney stones. I've worried about getting them as I don't drink enough water and am chronically mildly dehydrated. I also have a few medical issues but so far I've never had a kidney stone. So, I don't have any useful tips. I know they can use sound waves to break up the stones, at least in some cases, but I'm sure you're far more aware of that than I am.
Hope you get well soon.
I appreciate the message EOB, they are truly brutal so I'm glad you haven't experienced them and hope you never do. DRINK MORE WATER!!!!
I've had endoscopies, lithotripsies, everything under the sun it would seem and those are great for treatment (along with the meds) but they do nothing to prevent them from forming. I've recently read that roller coasters can help them pass faster.
