I think it'll likely end up with a "Yes" win and then the Supreme Court overruling it in the long run

Most of the early vote totals are coming from rural areas. The more populous areas have yet to report their totals and are expected to vote "YES".

Texas redistricts without a vote, Republicans cheer.

Dems in Virginia respond by putting it UP FOR A VOTE OF THE PEOPLE, it passes, Republican cry foul.
Oh well. Good job Virginia!!
Democrats did not want to do any mid-decade redistricting. It was Trump who started it in June 2025 with a phone call to Greg Abbott after more special election losses. Dems warned they’d respond. But Texas did it anyway - without the consent of the voters. Then Dems responded.

Georgia 2021 not so much gerrymandering but an attempt to overturn a free and fair election. This could be why he came up with the plan to have red states like Texas redraw their districts years before they should have.

I don't like any of the states redistricting but Georgia smelled a bit fishier that night in 2021

Me too 100%. This is why Tulsi Gabbard made a visit to Fulton County, GA recently.

I've seen it, and I would generally agree except when your opponent tries to use a dirty trick. The only way to stop a guy like that is to use his own tactics against, let him feel how it feels to be on the other end. Sadly however, I do not believe that Col. Bone Spur is through with the underhanded attempts at tilting the scales towards himself.

So, in a basically 50-50 vote, the Democrats just disenfranchised Virginia voters 91-9.

Perhaps the most noteworthy thing here is that, while Republicans took gerrymandering to a new level, they are in a position to put a stop to it right now.
65 million dollars in dark money went to pay for Virginia’s gerrymandering efforts and only 1.5 million of that was actually from people who live in Virginia. pic.twitter.com/0Ye739DHyu

They just voted on it in Virginia. Democrats voted yes to the gerrymandering bill. Also....65 million dollars in dark money went to pay for Virginia’s gerrymandering efforts and only 1.5 million of that was actually from people who live in Virginia. pic.twitter.com/0Ye739DHyu
