i was a frequent user before new management took over twitter, and zillionaire spaced man trashed it.

thankfully when similar blue sky social popped up many of us moved over there, entry point http://bsky.app

of course there's a learning curve // finding handles to follow and vice versa, but well worth the effort imo, esp for bears with a liberal bent/kink.

maybe give it a try sometime, in spite of the modest learning curve.

2nd verse same as the first..

Quote:

We'll Keep Fighting. Just Not on X
When you go online, your rights should go with you. X is no longer where the fight is happening. The platform Musk took over was imperfect but impactful. What exists today is something else: diminished, and increasingly de minimis.

EFF takes on big fights, and we win. We do that by putting our time, skills, and our members' support where they will effect the most change. Right now, that means Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and eff.org. We hope you follow us there and keep supporting the work we do. Our work protecting digital rights is needed more than ever before, and we're here to help you take back control.

If the Trump DOJ censored Bluesky, it would be popular overnight.

Hope and pray.

Blue sky is where all the suckers who bought Teslas went to protest Musk.

My Tesla purchase has been a very good purchase. It cost about the average of a new car price and has performed well. The battery did die but the warranty fully covered it. It is too bad that most manufacturers view EV's as a way to sell very expensive cars and that Musk crapped on his customers so people like me won't buy his cars any more. But the car has performed well for me - and I'm not paying those high car or gas prices.

EVs are cheap in every car market except the US, due to Chinese competition.

Model 3 MSRP in Canada, which has opened up its market to China, is US$29k.

There's a lot of funny in the world, but nothing is funnier than Tesla owners who put anti-Elon stickers on the car in the hopes that it will keep other crazy Democrats from keying their car

Yes, the US manufacturers are a disgrace. They have completely failed to remain competitive and now depend on protectionism to stay relevant outside of overpriced, poor quality trucks.
