Cal Football Recruiting Focus: 2027 Wide Receivers

The Bears received their first wide receiver commitment of the 2026 recruiting this month with the addition of 6-2/185 3 star Southlake Carroll High School (Southlake, TX) wide receiver Blake Gunter, choosing Cal over UCLA, SMU, Baylor and more. As a junior, Gunter hauled in 68 receptions for 1,224 yards and 18 receiving TDs, adding 5 carries for 138 yards and 2 rushing TDs. He’ll take his OV to Cal June 4-7.
