Four Edge Players Hoping to Make an Immediate Impact in Bears Pass Rush

Four of Cal’s exciting edge rushers, all transfers, spoke to the media on Friday about the upcoming season. Justin Beadles, Emmanuel Okoye, Joshua Pierce and Solomon Williams are all expected to bolster the Bears’ defense. 

The Cal defense has room for improvement, especially against the run, as they allowed opponents to run for more than 150 yards per game, on average and allowed opposing rushers to gain nearly five yards per carry.
