Bears Add Another Piece To 2026 Recruiting Class With 4 Star SF Gabriel Sularski
The Bears pulled in a late addition to their 2026 recruiting class today, adding Layton Christian Academy small forward Gabriel Sularski.
The 6-6/205 4 star (ESPN) SF is a dual citizen of Poland and the U.S. and has played hoops in both countries and represented Poland at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2024 in Heraklion, Greece. He was Poland’s leading scorer in the tournament, averaging 16 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game in seven appearances. He also played in the U.S. throughout high school and EYBL ball.
The newest Bear got on the recruiting map early, earning offers from Michigan State and Indiana after a strong sophomore season, averaging 14.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for a 27-7 Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) squad that won the Class 4A regional championship.
Sularski transferred to Lemont High School (Lemont, IL) for his junior year, further stepping up his game, averaging 17.6 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists per game as he continued to add offers, including Notre Dame, Northwestern, Missouri and more. He played his senior season at Layton Christian Academy (Layton, UT), averaging 12.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
Sularski joins SG Dionycius Bakare and center Nicolas Mitrovic in the Bears’ 2026 prep recruiting class as well as PF/C Dominykas Daubaris, SF Jake Wilkins, SF Amier Ali, wing Nojus Indrusaitis, combo guard Michael Cooper and PG Jordan Ross in the Bears’ 2026 portal class.
