How are relations between Tedford and Lupoi, who torpedoed his recruiting class?

Much better. They both reportedly moved on. Glad to see JT get rewarded with a CFB selection.

Oh, great. So, I'm the only one who hasn't?

Probably good for Texas, Tedford and Sarkasian are friends (Tedford said he recruited Sark out of HS).

Great news for LSU as Tedford was Kiffin's coach and mentor.

Fantastic news for Fresno State.

And of course, Cal will now have a bunch of Tedford's former players involved in the program.

Or maybe not so good for all the teams above, as in 2004 when Tedford wouldn't run up the score or lobby for Cal, maybe he feels obligated NOT to vote for his friends and former players?

While it's a fun exercise to recall Tedford's connections to current coaching staffs, I like to believe that Tedford will be objective in his selection committee role.

Of course I will be … err, uh we will be …. he will be.

Kidding aside, it won't hurt to have him in that position. That, for us, is a huge positive given the rest of the nepotism in the selections.

Yeah, I was playing along, but, as I said in my last paragraph, Tedford very well may go out of his way NOT to help his connections.
