I picked him up from the undrafted free agent pool for my fantasy basketball team a few weeks ago, just for the heck of it (entirely because of the Cal connection) and not expecting to play him much. Over that short time, he's become the current darling of the fantasy world (because of his high % and all-around game), and he's helped propel me to first place in my league--making me look like a fantasy genius! I sometimes wonder whether anyone in the actual league (coaches, gms, etc.) pays any attention to the trends in the fantasy world--probably not, but enough fans play fantasy that Jaylon's current run can't hurt his cause for playing time and, when the time comes, contract negotiation.
