This is a thread about other teams competing for a spot, on the bubble.

Some of the games of interest tonight with bubble teams in bold :

USC @UCLA, root for the southern branch, SC closer the bubble and UCLA is a borderline Q1 win.
Auburn @Oklahoma
UNM @Nevada
ASU @TCU
Vols @Mizzou
WVU @OkSU

I'd also add in NW and Indiana, Miami OH(like the undefeated story but sadly it is prob better for Cal if they lose a few before the championship game as to not bid steal if they lose in that game), Could also throw in BYU and UCF in as if UCF loses 3/4(Q1) they probably would miss. Can root for TTU as well why not lol.

Instead of pontificating about bubble relevance, please focus on winning tomorrow night against SMU. If we lose to the Mustangs at Haas, we are NCAA toast and NIT bound.

NCAA bound teams win these games especially at home. SMU will not be easy but I agree this is a must win absent us going bonkers in the ACC tourney.

All of it matters we aren't the players lol. They need to focus on the game but as fans all of these things are important as we can't do anything else but follow it aside from attending tmrw's game.

Good call on Indiana, NET #36, lost at home to 11-16 Northwestern, big fat blemish on their resume...

Miami (OH) is going to keep winning, the only decent team in their conference is Akron, so we have to root for them to win their tournament and finish with a ridiculous 34-0 record.

UCF is 4-5 Q1 and 5-2 Q2 so yes big game for them later tonight.

As well it is fun, after all these years of hoops drought, to be in a situation where this late in the season we have some incentive to follow this stuff...

UCF won at BYU. They are very comfortably in.

USC, Auburn, UNM, WV lost. Cincinnati borderline bubble B12 team also lost. Looking at the B12, K State is only 2-12, but is still a Q2 loss for us, they are #100 NET.

TCU won.

Missouri beat #22 Tenn, big win for them.

USC dropped substantially in the NET to 63, while Mizzou jumped to 57, we're still at #59.

Think Santa Clara's next game after St. Marys is Gonzaga. Tough road for the Broncos.

We're 4-4 in Q1 right now, though that might drop to 3-4 because SMU came in at #30 and is going to get knocked down because we beat them...

We were also lacking in Q2 wins so that might not be too bad. Either way this win majorly helps our case.

To give you an idea about how solid a 4-4 Q1 record is, there are only 16 teams in the NCAA with above .500 record vs Q1. That kind of record really pops out when you look at the NET breakdowns.

Well do i have some good news for you. We are 5-4 if SMU stays at #30
If SMU drops below 30 we are still 4-4 assuming Stanford doesn't drop below 75. We own a quad 1 win on the road at the farm. They did win tonight so i think they are still Q1

It think your chart is a little wrong but we are in better shape than you think
