We have a chance at some continuity, a rare thing these days.

I predict Ames, Yeanay, Carr, Petraitis, Ruff, and Pippen will be back next year.

Lee dort and Madsen should agree to part ways.

Asked after the game about the potential for returning for his season season, Ames noted,"I believe I should be here next year."

TT Carr was sort of having a coming out party, then didn't play much in the second half. Did he get injured or something?

Looked athletic as hell tonight and is a great passer. Can you imagine him with more experience and an outside shot?!?

You think that sounds good? Now imagine him a foot taller and with an extra 150 pounds, but also faster, and maybe with gills.

Just a word about their mascot: The longer he/she kept flapping his/her wings (no stopping), the more impressive it became. I found myself liking this guy/gal.

(especially since our mascot has been an NIT no-show)

Does the person have to train to be able to do that? How hard it it? No stopping! What if it was a five-OT game like we had against Oregon in 1977?!?

I really like Carr. Best passer on team and can finish at the rim. He made two huge hustle plays too … rebound & put back among the trees, and diving and saving the ball from going out of bounds

Needs to improve his shot but it's not broken so is doable

He would also benefit with personal training by Randle as an undersized guard

This current mascot outfit is different from the one with Jameer Nelson in that there was a lot more flappy material on the wings.

This mascot was also flapping less with shoulders and more just bending at the elbows. I thought it was less impressive than 20 years ago.

After they won, the mascot was enthusiastically waving arms much higher using shoulders at center court with players. I thought that was very funny. I was actually looking for it, like, "I hope that guy is REALLY flapping now," and he did it.
