From What I have been Told (NOTES):

- Turkington out for the year with TJ surgery
- Starters likely to be: De La Torre Friday, Foley Saturday, Eddy Sunday
- Hearing great things about the Frosh arms, particularly Roach who throws 94 mph and Colombara. Roach had an unbelievable sr season (0.00 era, hit .525) after TJ surgery his jr year, he could be a star.
- Larson is back at P but will be set up man, he is coming off injury
- Other young pitchers that are promising include Grove, Espinoza and Russell. Jett Wright has a lot of upside.
- Cole Clark will be the closer to start
- Hanson (USC/IMG) could emerge but is coming off injury getting healthier now
- Starting lineup as of now seems to be: Campbell 3rd, Kennedy (fr) SS, French at 2nd, Murillo (SF st) at 1st. C will be Prather (Clemson transfer)... outfield is Schmidt (LF), Hanson (CF) and frosh Jeon (RF). Jeon has a ton of potential/power and was bigtime at La Mirada last year. He hit a 3 run HR off UCLA's top pitching recruit who was drafted in the 2nd round.
- Team is dominated by right handed pitchers. hard to get lefties in portal. Lots of good young arms. Infield is a strength
- Very tough schedule but Aaron Fitt calls for Cal to be a surprise. There is a lot of good young talent and if it gels we could surprise.

Thanks for the update. Looks like they loss Jarren Advincula and PJ Moutzouridis our outstanding 2nd basemen & ss. Any others loss from last year team? And also Dominic Smaldino our hr leader. All have departed to other schools?
