Cal on the read at Boston College losing 3-4. Two unearned run in the 7th might have cost them the game.

Another blown lead by the Bears.

Up 5-1 in the 6th inning. BC loads the bases with no outs; next batter slams a home run. Bears squandered earlier scoring opportunities when two runners got thrown out stealing.

Now down 6-5.

Swept by BC. Wake Forest next on the road.

Bears have now lost 8 straight games. Remember when they had the 11-game winning streak earlier in the season? Seems like a distant memory now.

From following online and watching a few innings today, it sounds like Cal had chances to win all three games. Today their situational hitting was poor and the pitcher threw a sacrifice attempt into center field to let the winning run to go third with no outs. North Carolina was just a better team than Cal but BC just executed better in late innings and Cal couldn't come up with the big play. Now 0-6 in the ACC. That's a deep hole to get out of.

Cal Baseball now on a 10-game losing streak. 0-8 in conference play. 13-13 overall.
They've lost the first two games against Wake Forest. In the first game, they were up 4-0 in the 1st inning. They lost 9-5.
