Thanks for the update.

Just a suggestion for future postings but it might help to give some context as to who Clincy is and her relationship (or in this case, future relationship) to the Cal softball program.

That way everybody becomes better informed about the program.

Willow Glen Rams upset the #1 St Francis Lancers, 4-2, last night at Los Gatos HS to advance to the CCS Championship. Alanna Clincy went the distance, holding SF to two runs on four hits. WG committed three errors on defense.

Clincy reached base four consecutive times to help generate the Ram's offense. She was 2 for 2 plus two walks.

The fourth seeded Rams will face the winner of the #2 Hollister Haybalers vs the #3 Archbishop Mitty Monarchs for the open division title on Saturday. Hollister survived the Valley Christian Warriors, 2-1, to advance to the semi-finals.

Archbishop Mitty #3 throttled #2 Hollister, 6-1, on Wednesday night to move into the championship game.

Wow. Huge upset for the soon to be Cal Bear. Congrats, Alanna!

Willow Glen faces off against Archbishop Mitty for the title here in roughly 20 minutes. Good luck, Alanna!

Cal should take a look at MJ Fikes, a Mitty sophomore. She has 18 HRs and is batting .620. Wow!

After two innings, Clincy has been on the "wild" side with 2 walks and 2 hit batters. Alanna has not allowed a hit along with three strikeouts.

Bummer for Alanna. She pitches a 2 hitter but suffers a third 1-0 loss this season. Willow Glen just doesn't seem to have much offense.

Lots of highlights from the Cal signee. Both offense and defense.

S71 why do you keep asking CF questions? when you dropped the big reveal that you were maga I think about half the people on this board blocked you, continue to ask questions of people that have you blocked just giving you a heads up, btw.

Willow Glen will face Del Oro on Thursday at 4pm. Both teams won their initial game in the NorCal playoffs.

The third paragraph alludes to a strong outing by LHP Mikayla Finn for Del Oro. She is a 2027 Cal recruit and may end up facing Alanna Clincy, a 2026 Cal pitching recruit. GO BEARS!

Del Oro High School (Loomis, CA) Softball

Willow Glen started their freshman pitcher and she yielded 5 runs in two innings. Then Alanna Clincy was brought in to pitch in the 3rd frame with the outcome already determined. Del Oro's southpaw Mikayla Finn completed 5 shutout innings vs the Rams for a final score of 6-0.

Despite vehemently disagreeing with those views, I did not block S71. The only person I've ever blocked was someone we probably shouldn't name... because they've finally left us alone. I think we're all enjoying the peace and civility. I don't get to every question or message on here. I'm busier than I want to be!

Fun to see two Cal recruits square off against each other in this type of setting. I'll be rooting for Mikayla and Del Oro in the championship!
