I believe it was Dr. Jordan Peterson who said he got the NPP for being Black. Obama has a reputation for drone attacks on a lot of countries.

I watched the video. He is a complete moron and an embarrassment to the nation. He is actually worse than portrayed by the impersonator on SNL. My God.

You mean like this?

Maybe that's why the Iranians are working on it.

He was talking about Col. Macgregor. I don't think the Iranians want him gone, as he is a strong advocate against bombing Iran on behalf of Israel.

No enemy of America will muss a hair on Trump's head. It is a dream come true to have him and the rest of the Keystone Cops at the helm.

*If China doesn't get access to our latest technology from Trump's Saudi besties, they will get it in the grill at Mar a Lago.

Says the crew which was lead by China Joe, who let China off the hook for hundreds of Billions of dollars in tariffs while his whole inept family was on the China dole for Millions of dollars. And prior to that, Clinton rolling out the Red carpet, and Global Warming Al Gore collecting Millions from a Chinese monastery. Right.

Sounds like major projection.

Spain rejects Trump's request for NATO countries to spend 5% on their military budget:

"Yolanda Diaz, Minister: "Spain is not a vassal of Trump!...Spaniards must know that 5% for NATO would represent 85 billion euros for our defense policy, which would be much more than for education. We have said NO!"

It's a shame we have to live in a world where more money is spent on the military rather than on other things. If I was Spain, of course I would reject the U.S.'s. request for them to contribute more to NATO. Why should they since the U.S. has been footing a large percentage of the bill? Trump said in the NATO summit that Spain will end up paying in other ways, namely through trade tariffs.

What bill? What is the US protecting Spain from, Russia?? Morocco??

Slapping tariffs on countries like Spain is going to backfire, they will move closer to China.

The US military maintains 800 bases abroad and has what is arguably the most corrupt military procurement system. You can find some parallels in the US healthcare system, which is 17% of US GDP, nearly double the percentage spent by EU countries on healthcare, with worse results.

Trump's foreign policy?

Get as much money, personally, as possible.
Gain as much political powers as possible.
Acquire as much narcissistic fuel as possible by putting down others, flexing on others, breaking laws/norms and sticking up his nose while doing so, making as many self-aggrandizing statements as possible.

It's not a foreign policy.
It's a self soothing practice, and it applies universally.

So Trump expects Spain to spend 5% of their GDP on defense but the US only spends 3.6% of its GDP on defense.

That sounds realistic. /s

I am sure the U.S. would be happy if they spent 3.6% of their GDP on their defense, as opposed to 0.9, which is well below NATO expectations.

What defense concerns does Spain have? Getting invaded by France, Morocco or England (via Gibraltar) seems pretty unlikely.

Of course, they do have to worry about Andorra. You never what that loose cannon of a country might do.

They should leave NATO if they have no defense concerns, as you assert.

The goal was for Spain to spend more and for the U.S. to spend less. All the other NATO countries agreed to spend 3% of GDP.

Why is Trump demanding that Spain spend 67% more than the other NATO countries?

No country in Europe is going to spend 3% of its GDP on the military, except maybe the Poles and Balts, who have a hard on against Russia, and maybe the Greeks, who have a genuine concern for their islands near the Turkish land mass.

Good, NATO will be on the hook for reneging on their commitments.
5%, with at least 3.5% of GDP for core defense requirements and up to 1.5% for broader defense and security-related spending.

" Today, the chief reason the United States cannot get out of the Middle East is Israel.

The special relationship uniquely binds the United States to the Middle East. The profound levels of American commitments to Israel surpasses all other regional actors. US Middle East policy is bound to Israel at both the strategic and operational levels to the point where crafting policies independent of Israeli preferences is almost unthinkable.

In Washington, the perceived political costs of challenging the special relationship have long been an impediment to reform. Israel and its supporters seek to dominate the discourse surrounding US Middle East policy. This is done financially by pouring massive sums of money into politicians, think tanks, and so on; by policing what constitutes "legitimate" debate surrounding the US-Israel relationship; and by gatekeeping and intimidation.

This paralysis in policymaking allows Israel to persistently pressure Washington into providing ever more concessionswhich are almost always grantedthereby pulling the United States deeper into the region despite this being contrary to American interests.

By entrapping the United States in the Middle East, the special relationship forces Washington to pay the strategic costs of Israeli policy."
