J6 wasn't a security failure, it was a trap set up by the FBI.

If it was a trap setup, it was by Trump.
He arranged for the day's events outside of the Capitol.
He selected his speakers, one of whom (Giuliani) said "how about Trial By Combat?!"
Trump himself said "you've got to fight like hell" and "we're going to march on up to the Capitol".

And for weeks before he spread absolute lies and misinformation and stoked anger at the notion of a (false) injustice.

It was all emanating from one sore loser, Donald Trump.

I really don't comprehend any other explanation.

Why do you intentionally leave out the word peacefully from Trump's quote?

Maybe for the same reason I intentionally leave out the word "accidentally" in referring to Draymond kicking Steven Adams in the crotch, hitting LeBron James in the balls, and kicking defenders with a forward movement of his legs during his jump shots. Draymond always does the "dirty work" in ambiguous fashion for quasi plausible deniability.

Also maybe because Trump did nothing to effectively make the rabble stand down after they started rioting and because, in any event, Trump wholly ratified their conduct when he blanket pardoned all of the convicted January 6 felons, regardless of how vicious their attacks on the police were.

Many of those lads are very lucky that there was inadequate security at the Capitol on January 6, otherwise dozens upon dozens of those pardons would have been posthumously granted.

*My grandfather was OPD. I don't take kindly to pond scum assaulting police that are legally performing their duties.

It's not a quote if you change the words.

In a debate/argument you have no quit in you. That can be an admirable quality for a debater as well as a boxer.

Boxing brothers Mike and Jerry Quarry had no quit in them. It wasn't helpful to them and it isn't helpful to you trying to excuse, in any way, Trump's behavior on J6 and the aftermath.

The Quarry brothers never knew when to throw in the towel either.

Best way to defeat your opponent is to never speak a word to them. They don't exist.
Debate is the objective. Starve the beast. Don't get in the mud with a pig.
