I'm thinking that JD Vance's presidential hopes are as dead in the water as the Iranian Navy.

This was the one position that made Vance different than Trump.

It's pretty difficult to drop out of University of Texas.
For example, the freshmen retention rate is 97%

For context, nationwide the average first to second year retention rate is 70.57%

When looking at just colleges and universities in TEXAS, the average is 68.17%

Alexander Muse sounds pretty soft to me.
He probably would have been out of CAL within one semester.

It's actually really easy to drop out of any college. You just stop paying and stop attending.

He dropped out and founded an early internet service provider in the late 90's. Then a telecom company. Then he founded a company that built an app that was downloaded by millions. Followed by a venture investment firm.

Was Ben Franklin soft? How about James Cameron? Bill Gates? Steve Jobs? Harry Truman? Al Sharpton?

These facts are misleading and completely ignore the fact that, besides Muse dropping out it do bigger and better things, he left school in 1995 (not 2025). UT's recent stats are completely irrelevant here, which should be obvious to someone who is both arguing with good faith and logic.

In 1995, nearly 40% of UT students did not graduate in 6 years. In the mid 90's, the 4 year graduation rate at UT was 32%. Today, it is over 75%.
