Friday Spring Practice Notes

BERKELEY — It was a gorgeous Friday for Cal football practice.

The sun was out. Pads were popping. Big-time players made some big-time plays. 

And head coach Tosh Lupoi, as usual, was running around everywhere — engaging in drills, making sure players, in just helmets and shoulder pads, hustled from period to period with his megaphone and checking in with a slew of prospective Bears visiting the program.
