And the democrat leadership handpicking who was going to get the nomination, preventing anyone else from running. The fact you defend this is crazy. Everyone knew Biden was unfit for office and they glazed over it for months until he crapped his Depends on the debate stage.

Again, as Oski said above others could have run. There was nothing preventing this.

The incumbent president, Biden, ran for reelection. When a sitting president seeks another term, their party almost always treats them as the presumptive nominee, so there is rarely a serious primary contest.
