BTW the list of states suing on the newly imposed tariffs are not just blue states (I don't think there are 24 blue states). They include Nevada, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Pennsylvania for example.
This can get repetitive since there are a lot of statues that allow for tariffs to be imposed, and the administration will just select another statue and come out impose new tariffs if and when the case if finally adjudicated. Just the threat of tariffs creates immediate economic uncertainty, causing businesses to delay investments and restructure supply chains in a more expensive manner, all of which impacts the consumer and economic growth adversely. The courts seem ill equipped to handle the issue.
