It is also less repressive than those of local allies like Bahrein, and less ideologically rigid than the GCC Wahhabi theocracies.

Militant groups in the region like Hezbollah only became a thing after Israel first invaded Lebanon in 1982. They have single-handedly repelled the second Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 2006. Without them Israel would have already ethnically cleansed and settled southern Lebanon, a project that they have just restarted with the ongoing Lebanon campaign, where they are pulverizing entire villages, including Christian villages, and killing priests like Father Pierre here:





Besides, isn't this the point that neocon warmongers are making about Iran today?




Every Israeli invasion of Lebanon has been in response to massive terrorist attacks on Israelis carried out by terrorists operating from Lebanon (mainly Hezbollah).


Hezbollah didn't even exist before the first Israeli invasion of 1982.

Israel covets Lebanese land, Lebanon is rich in water and natural gas, and it is part of Greater Israel project, first step after the West Bank. Even Huckabee admitted that much.

Israel has broken the latest cease fire agreement with Lebanon 15,000 times the last two years alone.

This has been the pattern throughout their history.

You're still denying the zionist plan for Greater Israel, which has been stated by several officials including US Ambassador Huckabee. Israelis believe they have a God-given right to the entire land between the Nile and Euphrates. The two blue bands on the Israeli flag stand for these two rivers.





You won't hear about this from Ben Shapiro or the Daily Wire.

You may have quoted me out of context. "What did we ever do to them to deserve this?" was a common reaction among Americans, after 9/11 and that was the reference in my full post.

I am no fan of the Iran regime, though I don't believe our attacking them now is warranted. There will likely be blowback.
