With all due respect, what a load. You really need to a history lesson on the Iran's rigid and ideological regime.
The regime is known for its harsh crackdown on dissent, with incidents including mass torture and executions of political prisoners. There are continued reports of brutal suppression of peaceful protests (2009, 2019, 2022), with many protestors, including women and children, killed. They have engaged in proxy conflicts since 1985, supporting militant groups in Lebanon, Syria, and the Palestinian territories, which has contributed to regional instability. Not that the mainstream media bothers to report this, but Iran has engaged in dangerous escalations, including firing missiles at adversaries, funded terrorist actions in other countries, including the US, and is funding escalating religious intolerance abroad.
How far back does your history lesson go, are you familiar with Operation Ajax?
The current regime in Iran is no more repressive than the Shah's, which we have put in place by overthrowing the democratically elected government of Mossadegh, because he nationalized Iranian oil. It is also less repressive than those of local allies like Bahrein, and less ideologically rigid than the GCC Wahhabi theocracies.
Militant groups in the region like Hezbollah only became a thing after Israel first invaded Lebanon in 1982. They have single-handedly repelled the second Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 2006. Without them Israel would have already ethnically cleansed and settled southern Lebanon, a project that they have just restarted with the ongoing Lebanon campaign, where they are pulverizing entire villages, including Christian villages, and killing priests like Father Pierre here:Today in South Lebanon, Israel killed Pierre Al Rai priest of Al-Qlayya village and an Israeli drone targeted and killed Sami Ghefri in Alma Al Shaab, the brother of the town’s priest. Every Israeli invasion of Lebanon has been in response to massive terrorist attacks on Israelis carried out by terrorists operating from Lebanon (mainly Hezbollah).
Hezbollah didn't even exist before the first Israeli invasion of 1982.
Israel covets Lebanese land, Lebanon is rich in water and natural gas, and it is part of Greater Israel project, first step after the West Bank. Even Huckabee admitted that much.
