Why do you live here then? Love it or leave it like the MAGAs say

Little bro strikes again.
Because the democrats haven't managed to screw up the Sierra Nevadas, the beaches, and all of the nature we are so lucky to have at our doorsteps. It's also my home. I'm way more critical of where I live vs. some state I've never been to. The same way I'm way more critical of my own house vs. someone else's. The same way I'm way more critical of the school I teach at vs. other schools.
There are many wonderful things about California and it could be even more wonderful with any sort of real leadership. I'd gladly vote for a democrat that has a track record of being center and doesn't come across as slimy. I've said this on OT before but I used to be a registered democrat until the party decided to pull harder and harder left, arguing against things that used to be common sense.
Most of you won't admit it but the right is far more tolerant of disagreements than the left is. I'm pro choice, most republicans don't hate me for that view but if I was anti abortion and left on every other view, the left would ostracize me for a singular belief.
