The Director of DNI testifies in front of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on Worldwide Threats.
Chairman of the Committee: Tom Cotton
She sidestepped several times about whether or not there was an "imminent" threat.
And whether or not the nuclear threat still existed after eliminating that threat last June when Iran's nuclear sites were "obliterated".
She deflected that Trump was in charge of making that determination.
Several senators asked her what the President "knew" before the attack, such as if the President was aware of an intell assessment that Iran could in fact close the Strait of Hormuz.
Also a few questions about Trump's "National Security Briefing Membership" to supporters who donate to him in a new fundraising email, promising what he calls "private national security briefings": and "unfiltered updates on the threats facing America."
This marketing email was dated March 12th urging recipients to "claim your spot" in an "elite group" that will receive the "inside scoop" directly from Donald Trump on foreign adversaries, border threats, and what he describes as "deep state sabotage"
Hmmmm.....
A pretty subdued hearing.
No fireworks.
Unlike the Senate confirmation hearing happening today with Markwayne Mullin which was much more "fiery".
