Per CNN, as of two weeks ago, Trump has a 100% approval rating among MAGA.


Per Community notes this CNN segment is from over two months ago, aired on March 18, 2026, when the average us gas price was $3.79.

But even if you assume that number is the same today (highly doubtful), and given Trump's overall approval of 35%, it means that only 7% of non-MAGA people approve of Trump, confirming my post above of Trump's base having shrunk among nearly all segments outside his cult following.

Looks like someone was easily duped or knowingly posting fake news from 2 months ago.

There are three false claims in those brief remarks by Trump:

The poll in question wasn't a CNN poll, MAGA is not "basically 100% of the party," and Trump's approval rating with Republicans is far from 100% and farther than it was at the beginning of the year.

I'm surprised that people haven't criticized Trump's poor reading comprehension.

For starters, the poll was from NBC.
Not CNN.

And the poll was from over 2-months ago.
Feb. 27th to March 3rd.

Never mind that the NBC News Poll (not CNN) was conducted from Feb. 27th to March 3 by Hart Research Associates and Public Opinion Strategies.

Never mind that the poll was heavily skewed towards registered voters (42%) who either identified as Republican or Republican leaning, while 30% of the registered voters surveyed identified as supporters of the MAGA movement.

Even his CORE BASE that barely made it through high school and most likely suffers from poor reading comprehension has finally figured out that they got duped.

The guys in the trades are NOT happy!

And given where interest rates are and fuel and materials prices, my guess is that they will be getting laid off shortly. Just look at how the Homebuilding stocks have been trading. They are collapsing.

Why is anyone wasting time arguing about whether or not "MAGA" likes Trump? MAGA basically means a Trump fan. Basically what you're saying with "MAGA supports Trump" is "Trump supporters support Trump." Yeah, no s***. If they stop supporting Trump they will also probably stop calling themselves MAGA.
