First Democrats were told they couldn't own black people and fought a war over it. Now they're upset because they can't even own their votes.

I've only been here a month but so far I haven't sniffed a hint of racism. Sadly, I cannot say the same thing about my time in CA and OR…where there were instances of whites saying some really unfortunate stuff behind closed doors after a few cocktails when they thought they were in a safe environment.

Also, 40% of current black US Senators come from 2 of the prior 11 Confederate states. There's no gerrymandering state wide elections.

Wait, did Yogi try to sneak the classic far-right misinformation by us? The two parties switched sides decades ago. When the Confederate Battle Flag is criticized nowadays, which side suffers severe distress? You got it: the GOP. He is clearly being intellectually dishonest, but I have to compose this reply for readers who want to learn. For those paying attention, there should not be any lingering doubts about him being a closet conservative.

When did the parties "switch"?

Democrats continue to receive 45-50% of the Deep South vote for president. See Carter, Clinton, Gore, and Obama.
