110 years to jump from billionaire to trillionaire, how does that compare to the jump from millionaire to billionaire? I was curious so I looked it up.
Going from millionaire to billionaire is harder and depends how you define it but regardless it's a longer time period. Nobody really knows who the first person was to accumulate a mill but we know the Medici family had that level of wealth so let's say 1430s if they were the first millionaires. That's 486 years. If you go from when the first person to earn a mill USD ($), that's usually said to be Robert Morris in the 1780s. That's 136 years.
