The Bears will field a tight end group in 2026 with a combination of strong production and athletic promise. They return the #7 TE in 2025 ACC tight end production in Mason Mini with 35 receptions as well as the 2025 #3 national leader in TE catches in Dorian Thomas‍ with 56 catches for 560 yards and 4 TDs. The Bears also added Purdue TE Rico Walker and brought in Polynesian Bowl All-American Taimane Purcell‍.
