Duvay and Juju are both national recruits ranked around the top 50 overall in their class. Pretty exciting that Cal is now swimming in these waters and taking these kind of swings!
I do not expect Cal to land either. But absolutely need to take swings for both. These players have been actively recruited by some major powers for a while now and to expect a flip is probably unlikely. But you never know.
Get in the game with them. Stay on them and then have a good season and maybe they will consider Cal late in the process. Or when/if they enter the portal as many do in later years.
With Tosh and the new staff you have a punchers chance that was not really possible with JW at the helm.
One of the best things Tosh has going for him, in addition to recruiting skill, is that he's been at a few big time colleges and can genuinely comment on the differences or lack there of between Cal and them. If we have the money, and it seems we do, I think he'll pull some of these guys. Of course they need to have some academic commitment. After this year he'll also have show some on the field results. This includes not only wins but an increase in fan enthusiasm.
