anyways layshia would be a valuable addition to the wbb staff but unfortunately the current staff is reticent during gamedays which has calcified the program's acceptance of turnovers as charmin has turned over dissenting assistant coaches for years, the current staff knows its better to just keep their mouths shut than say anything & get fired

and that's why nobody ever questioned why naya & sakima could never be allowed to play on the court together despite naya averaging 6.7 points per game in only 11.1 minutes per game which means if she played 30 minutes per game she would've averaged 20+ points per game while shooting an unreal 50% from the field (88 of 176 field goals)

as a point of comparison charmin also played claudia 11.1 minutes per game despite shooting only 29% from the field & only 34 rebounds vs naya's 107 boards with the same minutes average

anybody with any cursory knowledge of hoops would've played ojuwku more minutes this season, she should've never been forced to play outta position at the 5 where she lacks the length to defend acc posts, she should've started every game at the 4 as taylor barnes (who lacks a physical interior offensive posting up game at this point in her career) is actually a more effective 3

hopefully naya will decide to earn her berkeley degree during the next 2 years of her remaining eligibility & not enter the transfer portal during the upcoming april 7-21st 14 day window

real talk: player development (which often leads to ncca tournament games) takes place and is a function of actual gameday verbal communication/instruction with a player vs stone faced reticence by the head coach (with a career .300 conference coaching record & $700,000+ total compensation) & her half a dozen mute assistant coaches (which is another $1,300,000+ total compensation plus another $800,000+ total compensation for a non berkeley grad general manager and support staff) when a player throws an ill advised one handed cross court pass into the 3rd row for her 7th turnover in a game before she enters the transfer portal and her game goes to another level with superior coaching

which is about as dumb as **** as playing the team's most physical scoring machine player (who made an unreal 88 buckets on 176 field goal attempts) outta position at the 5 & then benching her because she "can't defend" opposing towering acc post players because she lacks length instead of starting her for 30+ minutes per game (which would result in a 20+ ppg average) at the 4

or promoting unlikeable non berkeley grad co athletic directors (who each make just south of $500,000 at a time the chancellor "can't afford" to provide the critically needed necessary financial resources to a frustrated talented men's hoops head coach) who can't fundraise money or market (sell tixs & grow the fanbase) for the hoops programs but instead attend every softball game costing the athletic department thousands of dollars for a program they destroyed (currently 1-9 in the acc which is not as worser than the baseball team which is riding a 10 game losing streak & 0-8 in the acc)

max homa (69, tied for 31st): with shocky screaming his azz off ("kabooom, let's do this max, go bears!!") after rolling in birdie putts on his 1st two holes even mr negative nancy poopy diapers dad wuz kinda smiling/smirking at the monster!!

monster analysis why homa could win this tournament (only 4 strokes off the lead):

1) max's swing is very organized with fantastic tempo (other than a squirelly azz double cross pulled drive into the caca on the par 5 18th hole, the 69 this morning wuz literally the highest score he could've shot as 10 legit birdie putts burned the edges

2) after the round when the monster wuz taking the shuttle bus back to the utsa roadrunners football parking lot, max & his caddie lance wuz still practice putting

3) tpc san antonio (oaks) gotta lotta similarities to silverado north where homa got 2 pga victories, both courses are tight designs that place a premium on accuracy/ball control on gently rolling properties with seldom a totally level lie...both courses got a challenging collection of par 3s & four scoreable/exploitable par 5s if the tee ball is in the fairway (which wuz accentuated today with clean, lift & place due to the early morning thunderstorms)

michael kim (72, tied for 79th): despite our cali bear being one of the top putters on the pga tour, kim's speed wuz kinda off today leaving putts uncharacteristically short of the hole...draining only 50 feet in putts no es bueno, this speed issue will get worked out manana

fun fact: michael gotta a cbyf1 girlfriend (with flawless skin) who wore a black & white casual high fashion couture outfit (with a killah classic black clutch) usually walking 150 yards behind the action on the course while looking at her phone the whole round (probably reading cal's monster class no doubt)

yeah the golf & football programs are doing a lotta positive things to build their brands/relationships in today's fiercely competitive 6 second attention span market economy but the athletic department's decision to once again charge a $125 combo pass for the football & men's basketball programs is a beyond breaking bad FAILURE to understand today's berkeley students (which is causing them to perceive their collegiate experience as transactional which will preclude them from becoming season tix buyers and/or donors in the future)

this student tix policy also fails to recognize that a lotta of today's berkeley students NEVER went to high school football & basketball games coming from foreign countries which don't celebrate these sports & also usa high schoolers who wuz more relentlessly focused on achieving the necessary 4.2+ gpa for potential admission to berkeley...the dumb azzs making this decision don't understand that today's berkeley students are fundamentally different than themselves at the same age (a classic case of ethnocentrism) which is compounded by the fact that the unlikeable co athletic directors are not berkeley grads & basically clueless as ****

my berkeley grad poor as **** tiger moms (who grew up in a small space above a laundry in san francisco) never went to any games back in the day because she got no money, she went on to become the largest drug dealer in nor cal (ok the director of pharmaceutical services for kaiser permanente)

and so jay & jenny and their dumb as **** non innovative marketing team are gonna continue this exclusionary practice of ******* over the poor kids in berkeley

and there will be tarps this fall at memorial stadium (and 30,000+ empty seats for the wagner gameday) and a continued quiet & unoccupied haas pavilion with NO ENERGY unless the opposing teams buy up all the tixs as wuz the case this season with duke & north carolina
