Can someone tell me the highest ranking person at Cal Athletics who has an undergraduate degree from our #1 public university? I look up the Administration on the Cal website and I got Minnesota State, Mount Holyoke, Wingate, Arizona, Gettysburg, Vanderbilt, UNLV, Hampton, Oakwood, Notre Dame and San Diego (2). Incredible. I show that, perhaps, the highest ranking person is June Jackson, Executive Assistant to the AD. This seems crazy to me that not a single listed employee, other than June, has a personal connection. Football, specifically, has changed to Cal and Cal, but why can't the Administration reflect the same?

As a comparison, I went to national champion Indiana and their top four in Athletics went to IU, IU, IU and IU.

> Rivera told this story from behind his desk, in a small office at Memorial Stadium where 42 years after graduating, 33 years after retiring from a successful NFL playing career, and just a year removed from coaching his final NFL gamehe's returned to his alma mater in a role that didn't exist when he played here or, really, at any point in college sports history until now.

What's shocking to me is the folks those that attended liberal arts colleges (as opposed to understanding a R1), and/or folks who didn't even experience a mid-major athletic program in college.

Didn't miss it. I mentioned football, but Cal lists individual sports separate from Admin.

It is not a coincidence that once Cal football got Cal folks involved with the process it suddenly has awakened. The administration is the big stumbling block in regards to Cal athletics.
