This is what Obama wanted to do through Biden and Kamala.

Except it was a MAGA sheriff that actually did it

https://www.google.com/amp/s/thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/5887273-tennessee-man-settlement-charlie-kirk/amp/

This was an unfortunate isolated local incident. What Obama had in mind was something with a little more overreach, a little more centralized, and big brotherish.

Like the FCC Chair going on TV and telling network affiliates to cancel Jimmy Kimmel's show?

This was not a First Amendment violation. The FCC Chair did not issue formal orders, and ABC made the final decision to suspend the show. No court has ruled against the FCC Chair in this specific case.

Tell me, which formal orders did Barack Obama put forward to censor speech? If we're comparing apples to apples here.

The problem is that you get to darkly speculate about what the blue team REALLY wanted to do, but then when the red team's own actions are put up for review then it suddenly has to meet the exact legal definitions to pass muster. How about we apply the same standards across the board?

DOJ leak/press crackdown Obama's DOJ used the Espionage Act against leakers to journalists more than all previous administrations combined

Seizure of AP reporters' phone records DOJ secretly obtained records for 20+ Associated Press phone lines over two months during a leak investigation.

I will give you this one, though even there the information was used to prosecute the leakers (the people who worked for the government) and not the journalists themselves.

John Podesta and Jeffrey Esptein both love pizza so much, they email about it.

One is linked to Hillary, the other Bill.

I just posted a video showing how Obama wanted to regulate social media. Regulate is just another way of saying controlling information. We've already seen how the FBI infiltrated tech companies like Facebook and Twitter to shadow ban and cancel conservative accounts, including President Trump himself.

Unfortunately for Obama, Elon bought Twitter and Kamala lost the election.

You brought up Kimmel, but he got his show back and then he's gone again. No one cares about Kimmel.

Joe Scarborough owns two of the worst media takes of all time.

In 2020 Scarborough claimed that Hunter Biden's laptop was a Russian plant and that anybody who believed it was real was a fool.

In 2024 Scarborough claimed that Biden's mental fitness was better than ever and told viewers to eff themselves if they don't think so.

Funny that you don't think X is corporate media. Controlled by the highly partisan richest man in the world and part of what is about to be the biggest IPO ever. The algorithm gives us what Musk wants it to give us.

"Oh, my sweet summer child," Old Nan said quietly, "what do you know of fear?
Fear is for the winter, my little lord, when the snows fall a hundred feet
deep and the ice wind comes howling out of the north. Fear is for the long
night, when the sun hides its face for years at a time, and little children
are born and live and die all in darkness while the direwolves grow gaunt and
hungry, and the white walkers move through the woods"
