A reminder that Kash Patel’s FBI quietly paid out roughly $1M in overtime hours to redact the Epstein files.

Patel plays hockey, loves the game. Nobody cares whether he fakes a trip or went to a locker room and drank with the boys. The only thing that matters is iwhether Trump is ok with it. The rest is internet stuff.

Booth. I asked this in the other thread it was posted in. What exactly does gutted mean? How many folks were on the iran counter terrorism task force. Out of those, how many were fired?

Do you really expect people to read every thread before they post a comment? What do you think the personality profile is of a person that calls a Booth on someone here?

First paragraph of the article says:
"Just days before the United States launched a major military operation in Iran, FBI Director Kash Patel fired a dozen agents and staff members from a counterintelligence unit tasked with monitoring threats from Iran, according to two sources familiar with the matter."

Perhaps you can reach out to the reporter and ask her yourself.
Perhaps she will offer you an answer off the "record".
Just a suggestion.
If you really need a definitive answer.

Thank you for the suggestion. I am very skeptical that dismissing twelve agents or staff would 'gut' such an important program, especially given that we employ 38,000 agents and staff.

Since you wish to be specific, I think that you should point out that although there are a total of roughly 37,100 employees at the FBI . . . 13,700 are special agents.
Thanks.
