I must be one of the 37% that feel safe.

In fact, the Diablo Valley is relatively free from violent crime and overall crime

There's a hell of a lot more red, orange, yellow than there is shades of green

Doesn't sound like you are very well informed about the region.
San Ramon is 51% Asian and Dublin is 53% Asian and 11.5% Hispanic as of the 2020 census.

San Ramon is only 32% white.
Dublin 25% white.

Concord is 43% white.
And 31% Hispanic

Hope this helps you understand the DIABLO VALLEY better.

This makes no sense. There are more minorities than anything else in Diablo Valley.

And you think the orange/yellow areas in the Bay Area are bad, I'm sure red states like Miss, Bama, Florida, WV, Texas are horrible. The most unsafe places in the nation

I was just pointing out a fact that there's less green than anything else on those maps. Not sure why your post was so defensive

Caltrans opens new Express Lanes on Southbound 680 from Alcosta Blvd in San Ramon to Highway 84/Sunol today!

A 10 mile stretch that will certainly help improve traffic flow after this stretch of 680 was recently resurfaced.
No tolls will be charged until the toll system has been integrated and completed testing.

I don't know what's going on in Big Horn, Montana but some of the most violent places per capita in the U.S. are blue cities in red states.

The article is from early 2024. Big Horn, with total population of 100K, had a series of Native American women go missing. There was a documentary on this. I think this happened on a reservation.

Genova Deli, a Walnut Creek landmark for 58 years closed shop yesterday.

They will however keep their ravioli factory in WC open and its pastas and prepared foods will continue to show up at local markets.

The first Genova Deli opened in 1926 in Oakland.

I'm feeling old and sad. One of my earliest memories is going to Genova's on Telegrph in the 50's with my Italian immigrant mother.. The counter guy would give me a slice of salami. It was my go to for sandwhiches and focaccia through Cal and beyond. I loved the smell of the original place. At least we still have their ravioli, which we probably have once a month.

I knew a guy my parents' age that made a mint in the record business in the 1960's and early 70's. He had a brother that penned dirty limericks. He had one about the llama.
