So as those on the boards know Cal BB just put a 4% surcharge on season tixs to help with NIL funds. Highly supportive but I don't want this thread to be about that.
Has anyone seen any good research (or has direct knowledge from their own companies/industries) about putting on these surcharges as opposed to...you know....raising the base price? Anecdotally and personally not a fan of it over the hospitality sector (I HATE ++ on catering - just raise the f'ing prices) but maybe I am missing something and there have been good marketing studies evidence that it is less impact on demand than a base price increase.
