Let me guess: Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville has a "relationship" with the company that makes the pods.

What a joke to think that a lot of kids die in school shootings. For most kids, that is probably the safest 6-7 hours of their day (well, except for bullying). How many kids die on Friday and Saturday nights, versus at school? Many, many multiples more. Maybe these pods could fit in a car?

And of course, the state that is doing this has schools with just about the lowest funding in the nation. This isn't "cool", it's stupid. But maybe take it all the way and outfit the pods with machine gun turrets. That'd be cool!

When my kids told me they had days at school where they prepared for active live shooter incidents, that's when I knew this country has changed for the worst

Hopefully, that doesn't happen in a punishing way. However, many Special Ed kids enjoy being in a room by themselves and taking a break from learning for a few minutes. It is often a reward for getting some work done.
