Madsen should have called TO during that long run, halfway through the half and still all his TO left, doesn't make sense not to.

Madsen waited until Stanford's run reached 15-2 before he called timeout. SMH.
Stanford has the better coach and recruiter. But hey, we have a coach who is really really tall and played in the NBA.

We could have hired Kyle Smith at any of our last three openings, including our last one when people here made up a story about WSU being Smith's "dream job" that he would never leave so no point in inquiring.

I was just glazing Madsen last week. This is fireable.
Furd watched some film and came with a plan. We have no answer and are playing like we don't feel like playing basketball today. Horrendous, lazy, sloppy, pathetic basketball.

People here had absolutely no influence over Cal's coaching hires.

The question is why the fervid defense of those that do to the point of lying?
Madsen played under Phil Jackson, who was notorious for never calling timeouts during opponent runs. He always wanted his team to fight and play through the adversity. Maybe it was a Zen thing?Cal88 said:
Smith calls a TO in the middle of our run, why can't Madsen do that.
Still plenty of time, this game is going to go to the wire.
