Orban has lost the elections in Hungary, he has had the longest run of any democracy with nearly 3 decades at the top of his country. The new PM will be Peter Magyar, pro-EU centrist from the Tisza party.

New Hungary president is a "center-right" globalist?

The fact that Alex Soros supports Peter Magyar is enough for me to believe the wrong candidate won. May God help Hungary because the devil has been allowed in.

I'm pretty sure you didn't care about Hungary before and you do not really care about Hungary now.

Those tears and fears are not your reality.

True, I didn't care about Hungary until the Dems and the globalists started getting worked up over Viktor Orban.

You misspelled Tucker Carlson, FoxNews and right wing podcasters.

You were told to get worked up over Viktor Orban. No one knows where Hungary is in the same way people still don't know where Ukraine is.

Hungary is a small, landlocked country. The EU played hardball for over a decade, and in the end they prevailed.

The endorsements of Trump and Netanyahu ended up hurting Orban, but he would have lost anyway as Magyar's party won by 12 pts.

I must not have listened as I never got worked up over Viktor Orban. When I did hear about him, it was glowing praise from Fox News and other right wing media, podcasters and bloggers quoted here.

I've known where Hungary is since I was a teenager. Ukraine as well though I was in my 20s when it became independent. I like looking at maps.

Poland and Hungary have fought the invasion of uneducated, unskilled, uncivilized 3rd World immigrants. I believe Hungary also fought against supporting the Ukraine - Russia war.

The new guy claims to be for strong borders, but he also wants monies held back by the EU - held back bc they refused to be invaded?

Are the allegations of 300 journalists assassinated and thousands of children being targeted still holding true?

Absolutely, that ledger has been expanding, unfortunately.

This British journalist reporting from south Lebanon was very lucky to survive, the Israeli bomb that targeted him landed inside a crater behind him, otherwise he would have been on that long list:

From the last batch of children killed by Israeli bombings in Lebanon, the count from the last few weeks alone is around 200 children killed:

Losing the election had more to do with a stagnant economy and his party being in government too long vs. endorsements. Also....
