A couple I know started a successful small business there, relocating from the USA ... and no children.

I'd like to see California build two additional reactors at Diablo Canyon as it was designed for four and would help support AI / growth.

The title here is click bait, as Germany hasn't yet boycotted the WC, but the subject has been breeched.

FIFA is to blame, too.
They've jacked up prices so high it's a joke.

You can buy an 85" Roku tv at Walmart for $598 and watch ALL the games in better detail than the price of nose bleed for a crappy contest.

With what you saved, you can include free beer and popcorn for all your friends.

Spaniards are not reproducing (babies). If they want an economy, they have to import.
All developed nations are in the same boat, including the US.

How many children did you have, ML?

So the solution to declining birth rates are mass legal and illegal immigration in the tens of Millions of low-skilled, illiterate refugees who overwhelm all systems? Not to mention dramatically increased crime rates and lower standard of living.

Makes zero sense, causing the native population to often be displaced themselves, have even fewer marriages and children. And in the case of the UK, 20,000 millionaires fled the country last year, probably another 20,000 this year unless Reform wins power.

Signals from Japan suggest they'll accept a gradually declining population as they don't want the lawlessness and will increase deportations.

Spain has done better economically than the rest of Europe, becoming an auto manufacturing hub, managing its energy better than the rest overall.

One thing that is really hurting young people in Spain and Portugal is housing costs, which have skyrocketed due to tourism and retirees/transplants from northern Europe. Immigration levels from the third world are too high as well, granted, and things are going to get worse for the EU there as they have also opened the floodgates from India:

Facebook, Visegrad: "The president of the Vox party in Spain responded to the extraordinary situation in which the government, under Pedro Snchez, will regularize half a million undocumented migrants through a Royal Decree, stating:

" 'The Spanish people hate the prime minister; that is why he is trying to replace them with migrants who will vote for him.' "

President of European Parliament bans EU nations from purchasing Russian gas without paying a commission to Third Party (India).

Meanwhile, Mexico smartly moving closer to the USA while Canada does the opposite.

Trump left Canada no choice, with his aggressive all stick and no carrot approach, and open threats of conquest.

Carney is the one NATO leader that is not a pushover, he's kind of similar to previous Canadian leaders like Jean Chretien, who stood up to Dubya in the early 00s.

I love how you think Canada is this innocent puppy in all this. Canada is the one that had tariffs and barriers on the United States first. Trump even said he would do zero reciprocal tariffs with Canada, it was CANADA who didn't agree.

Mexico 130 million, average age 30.

Canada 40 million, average age 40.

I believe inking a deal with a non-market country violates USMCA, and allows President Trump to void it. Either way, some argue it gives him clarity to exit this summer. Mexico > Canada.

Canada signed NAFTA decades ago, pretty much free trade across the border with a few exemptions (cultural products/mass media, some agricultural products).

As to what Trump said, most likely he was lying.

Do you still think in 2026 that Trump doesn't lie?

FYI, Brussels isn't in the UK. In fact, the UK isn't even a member of the European Union. There was this thing called Brexit a while back. You should remember it. You posted about it a lot during your Boris Johnson Derangement Syndrome phase.

I do agree that those paintings, if real, are disgusting and don't belong in public buildings.
