The center left is terrified of the progressive left and will not speak out against them for fear of being called racist, bigot, homophobic, Islamophobic, fascist, and all the other beautiful names they call MAGA.

Wow, that's quite an assertion! If I understand you correctly, you're saying that, in our two-party system, there's one party in which many of its more moderate members are "terrified" of a more extreme faction of their own party and will not speak out against them out of fear of being called inaccurate and derogatory names?!?

That's shocking and disconcerting. Wait, which party did you say that is?

Democrats are afraid of the young women in their own party?

How many Democrats outside of Bill Maher will speak out against other Democrats who hate Jews? It's extremely popular to hate Jews these days, if you haven't noticed.

You'll hear some left-wingers try to make distinctions between secular Jews, Zionists, between the Israeli government and the people, or the right-wing faction of the Israeli government vs the rest of the government, but others don't care, it's all the same to them.

Democrats would rather attack Trump for being a Nazi while being Bibi's puppet rather than speaking out against the growing antisemitism within their own party.

I would argue that a strong majority of people on the left are critical of the Israeli government and not Jews as a group.

How many among the strong majority who would openly criticize Israel's handling of the war condemn the minority that's antisemitic?

GTFOOH with that *****

I'm not responsible for other people's beliefs. That's just another flavor of "you have to condemn Hamas." No I ******* don't because Hamas is not supported by my taxes and my government. They're supported by Israel after they receive my taxes.

When one of you worthless apologists condemns Israel for raping prisoners, sometimes with dogs, and shooting children in the head, maybe then we'll get around to what I need to condemn to keep up with you. Until that moment in time

Go to your nearest synagogue and find someone wearing a yarmulke and punch him in the face. Bring some friends and get it out of your system.

That's nothing compared to the dogs!

Literally none of this is true

MAGA can have disagreements and can openly criticize their own. See Tucker and the rest.

The other side, not so much. Too scared. They should be scared, look at what they do.

Show me someone who's clearly antisemitic and I'll condemn it. I didn't see a lot of folks on the left supporting Kanye West during his meltdown, for example. The thing is that it's just not that common, or it's ambiguous at best.

The problem is that opposition to Israel and antisemitism are too often conflated as the same thing. And yes, the Israeli government and its lobby groups in America actively work to push that message.

I have been thinking about this for a while and watching Graham Platner's rise and fall underscores what I think is the core challenge.

Since this post back in October, it has been revealed that the Democrats have been guilty of engaging in money fraud with organizations like the SPLC to fund organizations like the KKK and that Graham Platner owned a Nazi tattoo for over 20 years.

Democrats have a racism problem. Best bet for them in 2028 is to hope Trump crashes the economy.

Kanye West is one obvious example. I said if you can show me more I'm happy to comment on it.

But per the usual, I think you don't actually care that much about antisemitism and are just looking for another excuse to dunk on the left.

MAGA doesn't tolerate hardly any opposition to Trump's stupid policies...

- Iran War
- the stupid tariffs
- election denial
- the ham-handed gutting of government programs
- ICE raids looking like thugs on patrol

The list goes on. If a Representative in the House dares to come out against any of these, they are "primaried".

I haven't heard too many Democrats that tolerate antisemitism. OTOH, you got Nick Fuentes.

You mean like the tens of Billions USAID (CIA / Democrats) no longer wastes?

The tariffs are raising revenues and helping spur a manufacturing resurgence.

While the overall U.S. economy has avoided a catastrophic collapse, the tariffs are taking a clear toll in several ways:

Consumer Prices & Inflation:

Importers generally pass the majority of these new costs on to consumers. Analyses indicate that the current tariff regime has pushed up U.S. inflation by about half a percentage point.

Manufacturing & Agriculture:

Domestic factories often rely on imported materials (like steel and aluminum) to build their own products. Tariffs make this production more expensive and often result in retaliatory foreign tariffs that severely impact U.S. agricultural exports.

Job Growth & Output:

Models from groups like the Penn Wharton Budget Model indicate that these broad tariffs reduce long-run GDP and wages, acting as an economically distortionary tax on both households and capital investments.

Business Uncertainty:

Sudden and large increases in tariffs disrupt international supply chains, causing many small-to-midsize businesses to pause expansions, freeze hiring, and cancel investment plans.

Nick Fuentes came out of the closet as a Democrat. And your favorite political comedian said this:

It's jarring how uncomfortable Maher's audience got when he started defending Jews.
