Boomer news is dead. Also not sure why this is in the ICE thread

That's because the Alex Pretti videos spread by citizen journalists killed their mojo and they have nothing left to be outraged over until the next new thing comes along.

Once again, I clearly underestimated the loyalty of the cult to its leader…..and there may be no greater test of loyalty than purchasing a ticket and attending.

Yes, you and other folks certainly underestimate a lot of things related to Trump. Melania is projected for $8+ million, surpassing the $5 million debut of Angel Studios' doc After Death to claim THE BEST OPENING FOR A DOCUMENTARY IN A DECADE. There is a huge disconnect between facts and the crap anti-Trumpsters post here. If you can keep it factual, you'd have better arguments against the crazy crap that Trump actually does.

The hallmark of a successful movie is whether it makes a profit or not.

Since MELANIA cost $40 million to make and another $35 million to market, please let us know if and when her documentary makes money.

Thanks.

…..and since Bezos has already paid Melania $28,000,000 in connection with her documentary (which a lot of people are saying is a poorly disguised "pay for play" maneuver), I'm sure we can all be rest assured that the math on the Prime Video streaming revenue won't be fuzzy as F…..and that it will support the POTUS' claim that Melania, The Movie, was a home run for Amazon.

Judge orders release of Liam Ramos and his father. If his father was really in America on a pending asylum claim, followed immigration law, and there were no pending removal orders, shame on ICE. That means they messed up here, which is aggravated by the situation with the child.

DHS says child in Minnesota was 'abandoned' by father, not targeted by ICE | Fox News

Columbia Heights Public Schools Superintendent Zena Stenvik said the boy had been taken by federal agents from a running car while it had been in the family's driveway Tuesday afternoon.

Stenvik had said the family has an active asylum case and has not been ordered to leave the country.

The school official alleged officers told the child to knock on the door to his home to see if other people were inside.

"Why detain a 5-year-old?" Stenvik was quoted as saying, according to the AP. "You cannot tell me that this child is going to be classified as a violent criminal."

School board chair Mary Granlund, who witnessed Liam and his dad being detained, told reporters on Thursday that she heard an adult inside the home begging agents to leave the child but they refused.
Granlund was driving to pick up her own children from school Tuesday when she heard and then saw commotion near the family's house.

"I heard one person say: 'What are you doing? Don't take the child,'" she said.

As Granlund got out of her car and walked toward the house, she heard another person yell that someone from the school district had just arrived, referring to Granlund, and could assume responsibility for Liam, she said.

"There was ample opportunity to be able to safely hand that child off to adults," Granlund said.

She said she saw Liam's mom through the window and could hear his father yell at her not to open the door, fearing ICE agents would push their way into the house. It was not immediately clear whether the mother was detained.

Their is zero information in the above article indicating that our Federal Government is literally kidnapping kids on their way home from pre-school.

They are NOT using the children as "bait".

If you look at the actual facts that you just posted, nothing like that happened. They arrested a father and no legal family member there was willing and able to take the child. Should ICE leave a 5 year old alone? Should ICE leave them with someone who lives in the neighborhood just because they work at the child's school?

It looks like you got DUPED again. SAD.

In my lifetime, and perhaps in the history of the Republic, there has never been an Administration where between the POTUS and the Press Secretary, when they make a public statement, it is more likely than not that they are lying.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_or_misleading_statements_by_Donald_Trump_(second_term)#:~:text=January%202026%20Speech%20at%20Davos%0A%0AOn%20January%2021%2C,misleading%20statements%2C%20mostly%20about%20Greenland%20and%20NATO.

Below is a list of documented false, misleading, or disputed claims by Karoline Leavitt:

Economic and Policy Claims

Tariffs as a Tax Cut: Leavitt claimed on March 11, 2025, that "Tariffs are a tax cut for the American people," a claim rated as false by PolitiFact, as economists generally agree tariffs are taxes paid by the importer.

Deficit Impact: In a May 2025 briefing, she claimed President Trump's tax and spending bill "does not add to the deficit," which was flagged as false.

Condoms in Gaza Funding: In January 2025, she claimed the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and OMB found that "$50 million taxpayer dollars that went out the door to fund condoms in Gaza," which was determined to be false.

Egg Shortage Cause: She claimed an egg shortage was caused by the "Biden administration and the Department of Agriculture directed the mass killing of more than 100 million chickens," a claim that was fact-checked as false.

Job Growth/Prices: Leavitt claimed that prices were lower "across the board" and that job growth was strong, contradicting data showing high inflation and slower job growth.

Immigration and Legal Misstatements

Wrongful Deportation Case: Regarding an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) case where the wrong person was deported to El Salvador, Leavitt falsely insisted the individual, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, was a leader of the MS-13 gang and involved in human trafficking, despite a lack of evidence or convictions.

DOGE Cuts: She claimed that Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts did not terminate any safety-critical professionals, such as air traffic controllers, which was later proven to be false.

2020 Election and Political Reversals

2020 Election Denial: During her 2022 primary campaign, Leavitt repeatedly claimed that the 2020 election was "stolen" and that Joe Biden was not legitimately elected, a stance she later attempted to walk back or contradict.

Social Security Privatization: Leavitt tried to walk back her previous support for privatizing Social Security, despite earlier statements that it was "a solution that should be looked at very closely".

Media and Controversies
Gulf of America: Leavitt claimed that the body of water off the coast of Louisiana is named the "Gulf of America," rather than the Gulf of Mexico, to justify restricting media access.

Greenland/Iceland Misstatement Defense: When President Trump appeared to confuse Greenland and Iceland, Leavitt claimed he said "piece of ice," a claim contradicted by video evidence showing him saying "Iceland".

Journalist Attacking: She has labeled journalists as "left-wing hacks" for asking questions, including during a briefing concerning an ICE shooting in Minneapolis, and has accused reporters of pretending to be journalists.

Additionally, Leavitt faced controversy regarding her 2022 campaign finances, where a watchdog group accused her of breaking federal law by accepting excessive contributions and failing to return them.

This must happen to the BEST of us.
Even ICE Agents.

This is what happens when you lower your standards in your effort to ramp up your border patrol policy.

This is what happens when you cut your training from 5 months to 47 days.

These are the FOOLS that said that a 5 year old was "abandoned" by his parents.

This is how you MAGA!

The five year old was apparently abandoned by his dad, who ran from ICE. ICE would then only give the child to his mother, who apparently was also an illegal alien but refused to open the door of her house. The Clinton appointed judge ruled that ICE's actions were cruel and ordered the father and child released. The judge quoted/said to release them "And the rule of law be damned."
