We started the war, these people are our responsibility. Bear in mind also that Europe is taking them, millions of Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Russia, Germany, Slovakia etc. Those in the US are a very small fraction of the 7M+ Ukrainian refugees.

This would explain why the immigration officers were so unnecessarily aggressive in their interactions with Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Miller demanded that they behave that way, to "force confrontations."
