Sounds like Klobuchar is aiming to announce a run for governor. She will likely win and then get Walz to appoint whoever she wants to the senate until the special election. It'll be an interesting few months for Minnesota.

How did the MSM ever miss the Minnesota fraud story last year? Surely, they were vetting Tim Walz, right?

Walz is weak for resigning over nothing. If that's going to be his attitude, then I say good riddance.

Walz dropped out because he knows more waste, fraud, and abuse will be exposed.

He also knows the Feds are coming to knock on his door at any moment?

Hardly nothing but I do agree that he's weak for resigning.

I've been wondering this myself. I get why CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc didn't investigate. It would have gone against their interest. Why Fox ignored this is beyond me.

Who knows, maybe at the time, Fox News was just too busy getting their heads wrapped around the Democratic Party's insurrection and ousting of their sitting president Biden and the installation of Kamala.

So hypothetically... tens of Billions go to unvetted, FOIA-free NGOs, some internationally based. A chunk goes to the intended purposes, but Billions also go to Somalia, TC NGOs, and hundreds, thousands, of illegal, local outfits. Fraudulent daycare centers, taxicab drivers, health care, home care, grocery stores, restaurants. Covid expands that tenfold, and no oversight. Overarching everything, nobody wants to be called a racist.

Low-skilled Somali's are 'employed', the local economy is given a boost, as is local real estate. Local clans reportedly have a custom where theft is split 50 / 50. Natuve Minnesotans move to the suburbs, Somali's lease empty buildings, etc. This same expanded network of hundreds, thousands of companies route monies back to local politicians (Democrats), as well as the open vote-buying that has been going on since at least 2016. So Demicrats lock down the Gopher State.

Biden and Co hid it. If Biden was re-elected, it would have continued for years.

Walz didn't step down because of a video blogger. He stepped down because he knew the federal government was coming to town to open locked doors.

He sounds dumb saying he takes blame and then claiming he's got a record that stands up to anyone and made Minnesota better

Wanted to circle back to this . . .

You're right that it's not "nothing" and that was overly simplistic on my part. As I've said, there is clearly a real fraud problem here. It's not in the examples Nick Shirley was bringing, but it's something. What's "nothing" so far is how much Walz is directly implicated. Yes, in a general sense as the Governor he is accountable for everything, but so far there isn't much on him personally.

However, both of us also misspoke, in that Walz is not "resigning." He's finishing his term, just not seeking reelection. That's a defensible choice, given that he'd already served two terms and the scandal was surely going to damage him and his party. Not sure he would have lost, but I can see the argument for him just falling on the sword here. He should spend the rest of his time trying to correct the problem and prosecuting the criminals.

True, finishing his term. That was my poor choice of words.

He's falling on the sword because he got the call from the higher ups.

Could he win without the voter and widespread Somali fraud and funds?

It's likely to be a very blue midterm, so yes he probably still would have won.

I don't disagree that it's going to be a blue midterm but why are democrats polling so low as a collective?

It's a weird thing for both to be true.

Tim Walz is inciting an insurrection.

The state of Minnesota is at war with the federal government according to Walz.
