They are walking backward away from Pretti when the last shot is fired in the seconds after the first shot. No shots are fired once they stop and move forward again. The picture and your commentary are incredibly misleading, which is not surprising. It is nothing like an actual firing squad.

While I certainly enjoyed the video. I don't believe the expert is objective. I laughed when he justified Pretti's actions as typical of an ER Nurse, who he says often has to intervene in fights.

The officers made a few mistakes, but let's not pretend Pretti is an innocent bystander who merely got unlucky. I don't totally disagree with his open-ended conclusion; yet I do question some statements he made regarding the chain of events preceding the shooting. I definitely disagree with waggers' "analysis" of the video.

VP debates almost never have a big impact.

They may have an impact on the individuals' future careers, of course, but not on the Presidential election at hand. I'd also say Kamala lost with a big assist from Joe Biden.
