My point is, this administration was the first to actually release stuff and then take all the blame for not releasing everything. Do they deserve some of the blame? Yes. ….but this isn't correct. They released nothing new and then they actually said there was nothing to release and they were done with the files. The ONLY reason the files are currently being released is due to congressional action, and they've only released half of the files (give or take a bit) at this point. They tried to not release anything of import.

It's good that we're on the same side on this. It's basic decency. Shame on anybody involved in this stuff.

We already know that Trump turned on Epstein at that time. That's never been the issue, at least as far as I'm concerned. As I've stated many times before, there are no "sides" for me. Trump absolutely knew what Epstein had been up to for years and was buddy buddy with him until it was inconvenient. He let the dude operate on his property. For me, it's always been a case of them being buds until they weren't. Feel free to do a solid search of my posts to find this to be exactly my stance since we started discussing this here.

Agreed, Trump had known exactly what Maxwell and Epstein were up to many years before he "broke up", and according to at least one highly credible victim, his ex-wife Ivana was a close friend of Maxwell.

The other thing about Trump is that he was a very close friend and protege of Roy Cohn as a young man. Cohn himself was active in honeypot blackmail operations, that also used very young victims as bait.
